The Road Less Traveled: My Entrepreneurial Story

For some time now, I’ve been reflecting on and discussing with others what drives them to transform their ideas into action and dedicate themselves to consistently working on them—improving both their businesses and themselves over 10, 20, or more years. This is the essence of what I’ve captured in a series of writings titled MY ENTREPRENEURIAL STORY.

As you read MY ENTREPRENEURIAL STORY, you’ll find a narrative that speaks to all of us who’ve had the courage to chase our dreams.

I took my first step into the entrepreneurial world in the spring of 2008, at a time when the global economic crisis had just been declared. From a business perspective, it was a particularly challenging moment—leaving a secure managerial position to venture into the unknown didn’t exactly seem like the wisest decision.

At that time, my son was just two years old, and I had to carefully consider how this new role would affect our family life. Striking a balance between being a mother, a wife, and an entrepreneur was no easy task, and it required thoughtful planning and reflection.

There were countless questions, both within me and from those around me. Yet, despite the uncertainty, the decision was made—I founded my Training Center  BIZNIS LINK, in my town Kragujevac.

I embarked on this journey because I believe that each of us is truly UNIQUE. I also believe that within every person lies a wealth of untapped potential—countless pearls waiting to be discovered. This belief drove me to dedicate myself to the development of human potential, serving as a trainer, consultant, and coach. I set out to create an environment where people could find their path to PERSONAL EXCELLENCE and build lives on their own terms.

My goal was to establish a space that would inspire and provide a safe haven for those eager to enhance their personal and professional skills—empowering them to elevate themselves, their teams, and their businesses. By offering proven tools and designing bespoke programs focused on business skill development and growth, I guided my clients through both personal and professional transformation. Together, we worked to cultivate environments where people felt motivated to work, learn, share, and embrace change.

I was never alone on this journey—then or now. Surrounding myself with exceptional people has always been one of my core principles.

The first program I delivered through my center focused on BUSINESS COMMUNICATION. It was an interactive, open-format program with participants from various industries, held in a space thoughtfully designed with care and joy. I can still vividly recall the excitement I felt while creating that program—preparing the training materials, writing welcome notes on the flip chart, and experiencing that blend of positive anticipation and the responsibility to give my best in that moment.

On that day, I made a promise to myself—to continue this work as long as I approached every program and every group with the same dedication, professionalism, and authenticity. And trust me—I’ve kept that promise!

Living my mission in this way has led me to the right partners in developing my business. The journey is always more enjoyable when you have good company, isn’t it?

By believing in myself and everything I set out to accomplish—driven by immense love, effort, and a commitment to continuous education and development—along with the countless programs I’ve designed and delivered, unwavering support from my family, and the incredible people I’ve had the privilege of working with, entrepreneurship has become my way of life. And honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way!

There have been challenging and difficult moments, but in none of those situations did giving up ever feel like an option. I’ve always viewed obstacles as problems to be solved—sometimes by regrouping, sometimes by pushing harder, and seeking support when necessary—but never by quitting. Through it all, I’ve stayed true to myself.

This journey has allowed me the incredible opportunity to meet extraordinary people from all industries, collaborate with those building and growing businesses, and work alongside professionals in the corporate world. The greatest reward has been training over 20,000 participants, both locally and internationally.

There’s nothing more fulfilling than witnessing proactive individuals eager to develop themselves and positively impact the business landscape around them. It ignites my passion and fills me with excitement as I embrace each new day!

MY ENTREPRENEURIAL STORY starts in my Šumadija, and I want to show you how entrepreneurship thrives in Kragujevac through the eyes of those who truly love their work. These are the individuals who embody PERSONAL EXCELLENCE, continuously develop both personally and professionally, and never give up or slow down. Instead, they greet each new day with a smile, welcoming their clients, customers, or patients—whatever you choose to call them.

What makes these people truly remarkable is that they rise ABOVE their business. They genuinely listen, understand your needs, and offer valuable advice and support, building lasting relationships and friendships.

I am deeply grateful to have such entrepreneurs in my circle, and I’m excited to share their stories and insights with you.
