WHAT IS COACHING FOR?

WHAT IS COACHING FOR?

If you’re wondering what a COACH does, and whether a mentor, consultant, and coach do the same things, I want to tell you that there is a DIFFERENCE, and you can see it in the following example.

For instance, if you decide to improve your performance in business presentations:

• A MENTOR will share their experiential approaches to presentations.
• The role of a CONSULTANT will be to provide advice on what to do in order to effectively prepare and implement your presentation.
• The COACH’s task is to encourage, support, and inspire you to be the best version of yourself in every segment of preparing and presenting your idea.

If, on the other hand, you are considering whether it is WORTH including coaching in PEOPLE AND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT, take a look at the following research:

Bristol & West Financial Services conducted a 2003 RESEARCH TEST on how coaching helps managers in their company. A sales skills training called “Customer Experience” was held. Twelve managers, responsible for financial investments, attended the course.

Six participants received an external coach who worked with them for three months after the training. The other six participants did not have formal coaching but only the usual support from their managers. Another twelve managers did not attend the training and thus did not have the help of a coach or manager support (control group). Data was compared for each participant – before the training and three months after it.
The results were as follows:

For the control group – sales increased by 4%.

For the group that only had training without formal coaching – sales increased by 8%.

For the group that had training and coaching – sales increased by 27%

My EXPERIENCE in various business environments reveals a consistent trend: without effective FOLLOW-UP, the impact of training often diminishes. And that’s not your GOAL, right?”

For this reason, a key component of our educational programs is SUPPORT in implementing the tools acquired, through both individual and team coaching sessions.

Each first session is free—an excellent OPPORTUNITY to experience the VALUE of this developmental approach. We look forward to seeing you!
